The legendary Galt House Hotel is searching for a strong candidate for the banquet set up supervisor position, and to join their growing team.

The Banquet Set-Up Crew Supervisor will oversee the banquet set ups crew, which may include supervising temporary staffing associates as required. Responsible for set up and tear down of all materials and equipment for banquets and events in meeting spaces.

Essential Job Functions

• Support the Crowne Plaza hallmarks and standards.
• Supervise and assist crew members in setting up meeting/banquet functions.
• Ability to follow BEO, change orders, and worksheet diagrams.
• Responsible for cleaning and clearing function rooms after events.
• Provide quality guest services.
• Responsible for the set up and tear down of tables, chairs, dance floors, stages and coat checks in various styles in meeting and banquet rooms.
• Ability to follow banquet event orders and change orders, worksheets and diagrams.
• Ability to reason and use strong judgment skills.
• Ability to use creativity and good spatial reasoning.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Must be able to stand, lift and exert fast-paced mobility for at least 4 hours in length.
• All other duties assigned.

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One must have the knowledge of setup styles and equipment handling.
• One should have at least two years of experience in the related area of responsibility.
