The Galt House Hotel is growing and is searching for the position of Bell Person.

The Bell Person’s primary role is to assist guests with their luggage at all times, but especially when arriving or exiting the hotel. This role will also provide a high level of customer service ensuring that personalized service is offered to each and every guest.

Work Requirements

• Will serve as the face of the Galt House
• A successful candidate supports our brand by providing our guests with exceptional customer service
• Must be willing to greet our guests with a smile and in a hospitable, friendly, and professional manner
• Will assist our guests with the unloading and loading of luggage, transporting luggage to and from the guest's room
• Serves as a source of information on the location of restaurants and entertainment
• Provides directions within in the hotel to meeting rooms, restaurants, and other general information
• Keeps curb and work area neat and clean
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

Will be standing, walking, pushing and pulling carts, and lifting luggage.

Physical Requirements

• Exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds
• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
• Reach 6 feet
• Remain in stationary position for 1 hour throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
