Treasury Analyst

Job description:

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing the daily financial activities, including cash management, forecasting, and reporting. This role involves ensuring optimal liquidity, minimizing financial risks, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes. The Treasury Analyst works closely with the finance and accounting department to ensure the company follows the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

Responsibilities:

  • In this role you will be assisting with the day-to-day treasury operations
  • You will add value by forecasting cash flows on short, medium, and long term bases, maintaining and developing reporting and insight packages for management
  • Continuously seeking new ways to improve the company’s Corporate Treasury processes
  • Perform daily corporate cash management and forecasting activities
  • Monitor and manage the Company’s daily cash and ensures adequate liquidity
  • Support corporate cash forecasting
  • Assist in processing timely and accurate wire payments
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
  • Partner with IT and merchant service providers to ensure PCI Compliance
  • Create and maintain reports to monitor and review merchant processing fees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • Familiarity with the US GAAP and reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other industry software
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding and using databases
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills
